Designer in Residence benefits
This year there will be a living space (sponsored by …) and in addition designers will get their own studio in … (sponsored by …) in which they can create their work. During the week, visitors can visit the designers twice a day for half an hour and talk to them. This opportunity offers designers the time and space to focus on a project independently. They can also use our Dutch Design Month volunteers. The Dutch Design Month strives to offer established designers a place, with the aim of providing them with an infrastructure that allows them to grow in their own creative practices. Our volunteers can support the guest designers in the design, both structurally, spatially and socially.
Group display
In addition, each guest designer receives 250 euros to cover travel costs. A special allowance can be made available for material costs. Once each designer has completed their 24-day stay, they will give a group presentation together from 22 to 24 December in Huis Der Zotheid.
